We are delighted that Peartree has been selected for a major makeover as part of the government’s School Rebuilding Programme.

This means that our school will either be rebuilt or renovated over the next five years to provide state-of-the-art facilities. The new-look Peartree will be more eco-friendly and will offer a modern and inspiring learning environment for children.

We’ll keep you updated with news and developments about this exciting project.

What is the School Rebuilding Programme?

The School Rebuilding Programme (SRP) is a nationwide government scheme which aims to carry out major rebuilding and refurbishment projects at schools and sixth-form colleges, with buildings prioritised according to their condition.

The government wants 500 schools to benefit from the SRP over the next decade. Peartree was one of 239 schools chosen in the fourth round, which was announced in December 2022.

What does it mean for Peartree?

Peartree will either be completely rebuilt or renovated to upgrade our school buildings and provide modern facilities. We expect to know more details about this project later in 2023 and will keep you posted on this page.
