When choosing a Secondary School, children and adults should visit their prospective schools to help make sure that the school chosen is the best in suiting the needs of the child. In September and October, secondary schools hold Open Days where parents and children can visit and find out more about the structure of the schools and their approach to learning.

Parents/carers can begin to apply for secondary schools from the 1st September up until the 31st October. Offers from secondary schools will be emailed on the 2nd March 2026.

Once a child has had their secondary school confirmed, Peartree school staff will liaise with the secondary schools to ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible.
